Euphorbia nicaeensis All. is a perennial herbaceous plant or shrub that grows to a height of approximately 20 to 50 centimeters (7.9 to 19.7 inches). It has erect, simple ocher-orange stems, which are typically leafless across most of their length and covered in leaf scars. Its leaves are glaucous gray, with a shape that can be narrowly lanceolate, oblong, or ovate. Leaves measure about 10 to 75 millimeters (0.39 to 2.95 inches) long, and are arranged in apical rosettes and within inflorescences. This species flowers from June through August. It can be found in southern and eastern Europe (including Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Croatia), as well as in Turkey, the Caucasus, and Algeria.
