About Euphorbia epithymoides L.

Euphorbia epithymoides, commonly called cushion spurge and also known by the synonym Euphorbia polychroma, is a species of deciduous flowering plant in the spurge family Euphorbiaceae. It is native to Libya, Turkey, and East, Middle, and Southeast Europe. This species is a compact, clump-forming herbaceous perennial that reaches a height of 45 cm (18 in). It produces terminal cymes of bright acid yellow flower heads (called cyathia) during spring and summer. Its cultivated variety 'Major' has received the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.
