About Euphorbia cumulicola (Small) Oudejans

Euphorbia cumulicola (Small) Oudejans, commonly called coastal dune sandmat or sand dune spurge, is a rare flowering plant species. It is endemic to coastal areas of the US state of Florida, plus a very small restricted area in the US state of Georgia. This species only grows in sandy, fire-dependent habitats along the extreme southeastern coast of the United States. These habitats include coastal dunes, coastal scrub, and scrubby flatwoods. Its only confirmed location in Georgia is on Cumberland Island in Camden County.
