About Eumorpha anchemolus Cramer, 1779
Eumorpha anchemolus Cramer, 1779 is a large moth species, with a wingspan ranging from 110 to 135 millimeters. It is visually similar to Eumorpha triangulum, but the pattern on the upper side of its forewing is less contrasting and less variegated. A distinct white fringe is present on the forewing upperside, running along the posterior margin from near the base to beyond the median rhombiform patch. This species can be found across a range extending from Argentina, through Central America, and into Texas, a state in the United States.
