About Eugnosta bimaculana (Robinson, 1869)

Eugnosta bimaculana, commonly known as the narrow-patch carolella moth or two-spotted carolella, is a moth species belonging to the family Tortricidae. This species has a geographic distribution ranging from Maryland to Florida in the eastern United States, extending westward to Texas and Oklahoma. The wingspan of adult Eugnosta bimaculana measures 13–14 mm. In the southern portion of the species' range, adult individuals have been recorded throughout the entire year. In the northern portion of its range, adult moths typically fly between May and June and September and October.
