Euglandina singleyana is a snail species that has a golden-tan shell and body coloration, specially adapted mouthparts, and sensitive chemical receptors. It hunts and feeds in the same manner as its larger related species, the rosy wolf snail Euglandina rosea. This species is typically found in West Texas. It prefers prairie and forest habitats, where it lives under substrates made of dead wood.
