The sigmoid dart, with the scientific name Eueretagrotis sigmoides, is a species of moth belonging to the family Noctuidae. This moth is found in eastern North America. In southern Canada, its distribution ranges from Ontario to central Saskatchewan. In the United States, it occurs from Maine to Minnesota, and extends south to western Maryland, Ohio, and western Kentucky. It has been newly recorded in North Carolina and Tennessee in recent times. The wingspan of this moth is approximately 40 millimeters. Adult sigmoid darts are active in flight from June to July each year.
