Eudryas grata, formally described by Fabricius in 1793, is a moth species commonly called the beautiful wood nymph. This species is well known for its mimicry of bird droppings. It occurs predominantly across the whole of the eastern United States. The caterpillars of Eudryas grata use a set of host plants that include Ampelopsis, buttonbush, grapes, hops, and Virginia creeper.
