About Eudonia colpota Meyrick

Eudonia colpota is a species of moth that belongs to the family Crambidae. It was first described by Edward Meyrick in 1888. This species is endemic to New Zealand. Its wingspan measures 17 to 18 millimeters. The basal three-fifths of its forewings are ochreous-brown, while the terminal two-fifths are light grey. Its hindwings are a very pale whitish-grey, and marked with a darker grey postmedian line and a darker grey hindmargin. Adult moths of this species have been recorded flying in January.
