About Eucarta virgo (Treitschke, 1835)
Eucarta virgo, commonly known as the silvery gem, is a species of moth belonging to the family Noctuidae. It was first formally described by Georg Friedrich Treitschke in 1835. This moth is found in southern, southeastern, and central Europe. Its wingspan measures between 25 and 36 mm. The larvae of Eucarta virgo feed on Artemisia vulgaris, Artemisia campestris, and Tanacetum vulgare.
