Euagoras plagiatus, first described by Burmeister in 1834, is an assassin bug species belonging to the subfamily Harpactorinae of the insect family Reduviidae. This species is native to Asia. It has been studied for its potential use as a biological control agent against Pterophorus lienigianus Z., a moth species that is a known pest of eggplant, Solanum melongena.
