Ethmia dodecea is a moth species belonging to the family Depressariidae. This species is distributed across Europe, Asia Minor, Iran, south-western, southern, and eastern regions of European Russia, the Caucasus, Transcaucasia, western Kazakhstan, and Siberia. It has a wingspan measuring 17–21 mm, which equals 0.67–0.83 inches. Adult moths fly from May to August, with flight timing varying based on the location where the population is found. The larvae of Ethmia dodecea feed exclusively on Lithospermum officinale.
