About Erynnis marloyi (Boisduval, 1832)

Scientific name: Erynnis marloyi (Boisduval, 1832)

The description from Seitz: This species, previously referred to as Th. marloyi Bdv. (= sericea Frr., rustan Koll.) (86 d), has black wings. The forewing features two oblique black bands, and its fringes are barely lighter in color than the wing's ground color. The light dots in interspaces 7 and 8 are distinctly white; this is especially noticeable on the underside, where there are three spots, one of which is vitreous. This species is found in South Europe, Asia Minor, Syria, and Persia.
