This species, Erronea pallida, has a shell whose size ranges from 13 mm to 34 mm. Its dorsum surface is typically pale brown or greyish, with a darker brown area in the middle, while its base is whitish. Individuals can be found under rocks in turbid or muddy intertidal waters. Erronea pallida is distributed across the Gulf of Oman, the Philippines, and the Kenyan coast of the Indian Ocean.
