About Eriogonum abertianum Torr.
Eriogonum abertianum Torr. reaches 1–3 feet (0.30–0.91 m) in both height and width. Its leaves are tomentose, with a greenish, tawny, or reddish color on both surfaces, and measure 1–4 cm long by 1–3 cm wide. Individual flowers are 3–4.5 mm long, and may be white, pink, or yellow. This species blooms year-round. It is an annual herb native to northern Mexico, where it occurs in the states of Coahuila, Chihuahua, Sonora, and San Luis Potosí, as well as the Southwestern United States, within Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. It grows at elevations ranging from 400–2,500 metres (1,300–8,200 ft). It can be found in habitats including the Chihuahuan Desert and the Sonoran Desert.
