Erinnyis alope, commonly known as the Alope sphinx, is a moth species belonging to the family Sphingidae. Its distribution ranges from northern South America, through Central America, to northern Mexico and the extreme southern United States. Occasional stray individuals of this species have been recorded as far north as Arkansas and Kansas.
