About Erimystax dissimilis (Kirtland, 1840)
Erimystax dissimilis, commonly called the streamline chub, is a species of freshwater ray-finned fish. It is classified in the family Leuciscidae, which includes shiners, daces, and minnows. This fish is geographically distributed in the Ohio River basin, ranging from western New York to northern Indiana and extending south to northern Alabama. It also occurs in the St. Francis and White River drainages located in Missouri and Arkansas.
