Eremogone macradenia (S.Watson) Ikonn. is a perennial herb that grows a tuft of erect stems measuring 20 to 40 centimeters tall. Its leaves are needle-shaped, a few centimeters long, and have either sharp or blunt tips. The inflorescence is an open cyme of white flowers, each of which has five petals. The fruit is a toothed capsule that holds several small reddish to black seeds. This species is native to the Southwestern United States. It grows on desert slopes, in dry woodland, and in sagebrush, including in the Mojave Desert located in California.
