About Entoloma necopinatum E.Horak

Entoloma necopinatum produces deep green agaricoid basidiocarps that grow up to 60 mm (2.4 in) tall. The cap is convex and umbilicate, reaching up to 40 mm (1.5 in) across, with a smooth, dry surface. The lamellae (gills) are greenish, and turn greenish pink as spores develop. The stipe (stem) is smooth, matches the cap in color, and does not have a ring. This species has a pink spore print. Under microscopic observation, its spores are multi-angled, inamyloid, and measure approximately 8.5 to 10 μm by 6 to 7 μm.
