Endoxyla encalypti, commonly known as the wattle goat moth, is a large moth species that belongs to the family Cossidae. This moth is native to Australia. Within Australia, it has been recorded along the country's eastern coast, ranging from Queensland, through New South Wales and Victoria, all the way to Tasmania. In its larval stage, it bores into the trunks of a variety of wattle species. When it is ready to pupate, it moves into the ground to complete pupation, and eventually emerges from the ground as an adult moth.
