Tristram's bunting, with the scientific name Emberiza tristrami, is a bird species that belongs to the family Emberizidae. This species was first formally described by Robert Swinhoe in 1870. It breeds in eastern Manchuria and the Russian Far East, and spends the winter in central and southern China. It occurs only as an accidental species in Japan, Korea, Laos, Myanmar, Russia, Mongolia, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, and north-eastern India. Its natural habitat is boreal forests.
