Gosling's bunting, scientifically named Emberiza goslingi, is also commonly called the grey-throated bunting. It is a bird species that belongs to the family Emberizidae. This species is distributed across Africa, ranging from Mauritania and Senegal east to south-western Sudan, and south to north-eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. Its natural habitats are dry savannah, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, and subtropical or tropical dry lowland grassland. It was previously classified as the same species as the cinnamon-breasted bunting.
