About Elysia margaritae Fez, 1962
Elysia margaritae Fez, 1962 reaches approximately 17 millimetres (0.67 inches) in length. Its body is dappled yellowish-green and fawn, marked with fine red speckles; these speckles are particularly prominent on the pinkish regions of the head, the parapodia, and the rhinophores. The edges of the parapodia are dark green, with small thickened white areas along the margin. This species has a distinctive egg mass: white eggs with orange yolks are positioned alongside their capsules.
