About Eluma caelata (Miers, 1878)
Eluma caelata (Miers, 1878) is generally dark brown in overall color. Its body is convex and covered in fine punctulations. The head is tightly enclosed by the first pereonite. The segments of the pleon are rounded, and the terminal pleon segment is triangular. Each of its eyes is made up of one prominent ommatidium, a trait that sets this species apart from other members of the genus Armadillidium.
