Eleodes acuticauda is a species of desert stink beetle that belongs to the family Tenebrionidae. This species is found in southwestern North America. Its pronotum is strongly curved, measures twice the width of its head, and bears tooth-shaped projections at its anterior corners. It can be distinguished from the genus Coelocnemis by the spines on its front legs and the absence of golden hairs on the undersides of its legs.
