Elasmia packardii is a moth species belonging to the family Notodontidae. This species is found in Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Mexico. The wingspan of adult Elasmia packardii ranges from 30 to 41 millimeters. The moth's overall body and wing colour ranges from light grey-blue to plain grey, with indistinct transverse markings on the forewings. Slight brownish shading sometimes appears over the reniform spot, as well as in the postmedial and subterminal areas of the forewings. Male and female Elasmia packardii look very similar to one another. Adult moths are active in flight from April through early October. The larvae of this species feed on Ungnadia speciosa and Sapindus saponaria var. drummondii.
