Elachista maculicerusella (Bruand, 1859) is a moth species that belongs to the family Elachistidae, and it is found in Europe. The wingspan of this moth ranges from 10 to 12 millimetres (0.39 to 0.47 inches). Adults of this species fly from May to August, with the timing varying depending on location. The head of Elachista maculicerusella is whitish. Its forewings are ochreous-whitish; they sometimes have two or three dark fuscous spots near the base, with cloudy dark fuscous fasciae located at the middle and at the three-quarter position. These fasciae are sometimes absent towards the costa, and the anterior fascia includes a black plical stigma. The hindwings are grey. The larva is pale yellow with a brown head; the second segment has two faint brown spots.
