About Ehretia dicksonii Hance

Ehretia dicksonii Hance is a tree native to Asia, cultivated as an ornamental plant. It can grow up to 15 metres tall. Its leaves measure 8โ€“25 cm (3.1โ€“9.8 in) long and 4โ€“15 cm (1.6โ€“5.9 in) wide, with shapes ranging from obovate, ovate to elliptic, and have a rough texture. The base of each leaf is either cuneate or rounded, leaf tips are pointed, and leaf edges are serrated. The species produces white or pale yellow flowers that grow in terminal cymes. After flowering, it forms yellow fruits with diameters between 1 and 1.5 cm. Ehretia dicksonii Hance grows in open forests in Japan, China, Taiwan, Bhutan, Nepal, and Vietnam.
