Ectypia bivittata, commonly known as the two-banded ectypia, is a moth species belonging to the family Erebidae. This species was first described by James Brackenridge Clemens in 1861. In the United States, it can be found across the region ranging from Arizona to Texas and Colorado. The wingspan of this moth measures 46 mm. Adult individuals have been recorded in flight from February through September.
