About Ectoedemia argyropeza (Zeller, 1839) Bradley et al., 1972

Ectoedemia argyropeza has a wingspan of 7 millimeters. Its head is ochreous-yellow with a whitish collar, and its antennal eyecaps are also whitish. The forewings are dark fuscous: they have a small whitish costal spot located before the middle, and a larger whitish dorsal spot located before the tornus. The outer half of the forewing cilia is whitish. The hindwings are grey. This species is distributed across most of Europe and North America. In Russia, it has been recorded in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Kaluga, Tatarstan, and Kaliningrad. It is also known to occur in north-eastern China.
