This species is found in southern England, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, and Portugal. It also occurs in North Africa, specifically in Algeria and Tunisia. It has been confirmed that Ectobius pallidus has been introduced to North America.
