Ecsenius dentex is a species of combtooth blenny that belongs to the genus Ecsenius. This species is found in the western Indian Ocean, where it is endemic to the Gulfs of Aqaba and Suez, and the northwestern Red Sea. It reaches a maximum total length of 4.8 centimetres. This blenny feeds primarily on benthic algae and weeds.
