About Earias vernana (Fabricius, 1787)

Earias vernana is a moth species that belongs to the family Nolidae. It was first described by Johan Christian Fabricius in 1787. This species occurs across most of southern and central Europe. The wingspan of adult moths ranges from 20 to 23 mm. Adults have one generation per year, and are active from May through mid-August. Its larvae feed exclusively on Populus alba, and can be found between August and September.
