Dysodiopsis tagetoides (Torr. & A.Gray) Rydb. is a perennial herb that can grow up to 80 cm (6 feet) tall. This plant produces its flower heads either one at a time or in loose groupings. Each individual flower head holds up to 12 yellow ray florets, and as many as 40 dull yellow disc florets.
