About Duomitus ceramicus Walker, 1865

This species, Duomitus ceramicus Walker, 1865, has the following morphological characteristics. Its palpi are very small. In males, the proximal half of the antennae is bipectinate, meaning comb-like on both sides, while the distal half is simple; female antennae are entirely simple. The legs do not have spurs. The wings are long and narrow. The forewing has a very large areole, with vein 11 branching off from vein 10. The hindwing has no connecting bar between veins 7 and 8, and veins 4 and 5 branch off separately from the wing. The fork of the veinlets inside the cell of both wings is broad.
