About Drymophila moorei Baker

Drymophila moorei Baker is a small plant with glossy leaves, reaching a maximum height of 30 centimeters. Its main vertical stem is unbranched. Individual leaves measure 3 to 6 centimeters long and 1 to 2 centimeters wide. Leaves are nearly stalkless, with petioles only 1 millimeter long. They are broadly lanceolate to elliptic in shape, with a prominent raised midrib and a narrow pointed tip. Flowering occurs mostly in spring, and the flowers have white or pinkish petals. This species produces ovoid berries that are orange or yellow, 1 to 1.5 centimeters long, and contain a small number of seeds.
