Drymonia obliterata, commonly called the indistinct marbled brown, is a species of moth belonging to the family Notodontidae. This moth is distributed across Central and Southern Europe, Asia Minor, and Armenia. Its wingspan measures between 30 and 40 mm. Adults fly from May to July; in warmer regions, they can also be seen flying from August to September. The larvae of Drymonia obliterata feed on plant species from the Quercus, Fagus, and Betula genera.
