Drymaria cordata, commonly called tropical chickweed, stangries, West Indian chickweed, or golondrina, is a flowering plant species belonging to the Caryophyllaceae family. It is native to moist habitats in Latin America and sub-Saharan Africa. It has been introduced to many tropical and subtropical regions, including the southeast United States, the Caribbean, the Indian Subcontinent, southern China, Japan, and numerous islands. It is recognized as one of the most aggressive weeds found in tropical and subtropical regions around the world.
