About Drosera stolonifera Endl.
Drosera stolonifera Endl., sometimes called the leafy sundew, is a tuberous perennial carnivorous plant species in the genus Drosera that is endemic to Western Australia. This species produces 2 to 3 semi-erect lateral stems, which grow between 10 and 15 cm long. It is most closely related to Drosera purpurascens, but differs from that species in several traits, including overall plant height and petiole length. It is native to a number of swampy sites ranging from around Perth south to Pinjarra. It grows in peaty, water-logged soils in swamp heathland, and its flowering occurs from September to October. It will flower in large groups after a bushfire.
