About Drosera spatulata Labill.
Drosera spatulata Labill. is a variable perennial carnivorous plant that forms small rosettes made of many spathulate-shaped leaves. While the species varies widely across individuals, most plants reach around 4 cm (1.6 inches) in total diameter. Each leaf connects to the central rosette via a narrow petiole that is 8 mm long, and only the upper half of the petiole bears glands. The leaf blade (lamina) of an individual leaf is typically 5 mm long and 4 mm wide. In early summer, plants grow erect scapes that reach 8 cm (3.1 inches) tall. Each scape holds around six small white or pink flowers arranged in a one-sided racemose inflorescence, and each flower can grow up to 6 mm across.
