About Drosera pallida Lindl.

Drosera pallida Lindl., commonly called the pale rainbow, is a climbing or scrambling perennial tuberous carnivorous plant in the genus Drosera. This species is endemic to Western Australia, where it grows on sandplains, in heathland, or near coastal plain lakes in deep sand or laterite. D. pallida produces small carnivorous leaves arranged in groups of three along stems that reach between 0.3 and 1.8 meters (1.0 to 5.9 feet) tall. It bears white flowers that bloom from July to November. John Lindley first described Drosera pallida in his 1839 work, A sketch of the vegetation of the Swan River Colony.
