About Drosera hookeri R.P.Gibson, B.J.Conn & Conran
Drosera hookeri R.P.Gibson, B.J.Conn & Conran is a perennial tuberous herb. Its underground tuber is white, and is generally found 2 to 5 centimeters below the soil surface. Aerial portions of the plant grow 5 to 10 centimeters high, and are typically yellow-green to distinctly yellow in color. This species produces a well-developed rosette of lunate to semi-orbicular leaves at the soil surface, in addition to lunate cauline leaves. Its aerial stem usually branches multiple times starting from the base of the plant. The flowers are white, and may grow very close to the basal leaf rosette. Its seeds are black and cylindrical. This species typically inhabits winter-wet, summer-dry grasslands and grassy woodlands. It frequently grows alongside other species belonging to the D. peltata complex.
