About Drosera brevifolia Pursh

Drosera brevifolia Pursh is usually a small plant, typically no more than 3 centimeters (1.2 in) across. Some individuals are known to grow up to 5 cm (2.0 in) across, and its flower spikes can reach up to 15 cm (5.9 in) tall. Its leaves are shaped obovate to spatulate, ranging from 7 to 16 millimeters in length. Compared to most carnivorous plants, this species is often found growing in drier areas. It tends to have a biennial life cycle. Its flowers are large relative to the plant's rosette, can be pink or white, and bloom in the spring.
