Drosanthemum hispidum, commonly known as the hairy dewflower, is a species of perennial herb belonging to the stone plant family Aizoaceae. It is a succulent plant with a self-supporting growth structure and simple, broad leaves. Its flowers are visited by the bee species Colletes schultzei. D. hispidum contains the alkaloid 4'-O-demethylmesembrenol, which is structurally related to the alkaloids found in Kanna, Sceletium tortuosum.
