Drimia platyphylla is a small bulb-forming plant native to South Africa. It is often found growing alongside Conophytum and other Aizoaceae species in their native South African habitats, and regularly appears in the background of habitat photographs of these plants. This species produces small, grayish-blue leaves and grows during the winter season.
