About Drepana pallida Moore, 1879

Drepana pallida Moore, 1879 is a moth species belonging to the family Drepanidae, first described by Frederic Moore in 1879. This species is distributed across southeastern Asia, with a range extending from northern India and Myanmar to Vietnam, mainland China, and Taiwan. For male individuals, the forewing length measures 19 to 22 millimeters, while female forewings reach approximately 22 millimeters in length. Adult moths are pale brown overall. The forewings have faint traces of multiple antemedial lines and a dark spot at the end of the cell. An oblique fulvous band runs from near the apex to the inner margin beyond the middle of the forewing, and it is slightly bent close to the inner margin. A row of unclear dark submarginal specks is also present on the forewings. The hindwings match the forewings in appearance, except that their fulvous band is curved.
