About Draperia systyla (A.Gray) Torr.

Draperia is a monotypic plant genus in the Hydrophyllaceae family. This genus contains only one species, Draperia systyla, which has the common name violet draperia. This small perennial wildflower is endemic to California, where it grows in woodlands and on rocky slopes in high mountains. All of its leaves, flowers, and fruits have a hairy texture. Its flowers are funnel-shaped, and most are colored light pink to lavender.
