About Dracocephalum peregrinum L.

Dracocephalum is a genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Lamiaceae. This genus is native to temperate regions of the Northern Hemisphere. All plants in this genus are collectively referred to as dragonhead. Members of Dracocephalum are annual or perennial herbaceous plants, or subshrubs, and grow between 15 and 90 centimeters tall. As currently defined, the genus contains 89 species, which incorporates the formerly separate genera Hyssopus, Lallemantia, and other previously separated genera. Older definitions of the genus recognized between 60 and 70 species.
