Doratogonus is a genus of millipedes that belongs to the family Spirostreptidae. Members of this genus are relatively large, growing to lengths between 80 and 200 millimetres (3 to 8 inches), and are relatively common. The genus is distributed across Southern Africa. Many of the species in this genus are included on the IUCN Red List as a result of habitat destruction. This entry focuses on the species Doratogonus flavifilis (Peters, 1855).
