Dolomedes scriptus Hentz, 1845, commonly called the striped fishing spider, is a species of fishing spider found in the United States and Canada. Female individuals of this species can reach a legspan of over 6 centimeters. Their bodies are pale brown, with lighter stripes along each leg and a stripe running down each side of the body. This species is similar in appearance to Dolomedes tenebrosus.
